| Launceston is the chief town of a wide area lying between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor located on the Devon/Cornwall border..It was once the captial of Cornwall until 1838, the castle with its 12th century Norman keep still stands proudly above the town. It is now a busy Cornish Market Town with many shops and businesses located in and around the Town Square. |
